The Portuguese Maritime Police rescued at dawn 30 people who were on board a vessel in the vicinity of the port area of a Greek island. The rescue operation took place without any record of injuries, with all occupants being taken safely to shore.
The Portuguese authorities intervened following a distress call received during the early morning hours. The vessel was intercepted in the indicated port area, where rescue teams proceeded to remove the 30 occupants.
