Benfica has a 13.6% probability of winning the Europa League, according to data presented at a discussion panel. One participant at that panel stated that he would not say Benfica is a contender for the competition's title, but that it could end up winning it.

The panel also addressed issues related to Benfica, namely regarding player Andreas Schjelderup.

As for Schjelderup, Marco Silva, the team coach, guarantees that the player is happy at the club and is one of the starters in the squad, not a substitute.
