Brad Binder, a South African rider, will leave MotoGP to compete in the World Superbike Championship starting in 2027. The announcement marks a significant change in the career of the 29-year-old rider.
The South African will represent BMW in his new adventure in the Superbike championship. This move represents a transfer from KTM, the brand he worked with throughout his entire career in MotoGP.
Binder spent seven full seasons in MotoGP, all with KTM. During that period, he achieved consistent results and became one of the most experienced riders in the paddock.
This move comes at a time when the rider market is constantly changing, with several changes between teams and championships being announced for upcoming seasons.
