Prime Minister Luís Montenegro held the Council of Ministers meeting in Bragança and, at the end of the meeting, confirmed the extension of extraordinary support for agricultural diesel until December 31. This measure aims to continue supporting the national agricultural sector.
Montenegro stated that balanced public accounts, in themselves, do not constitute an end, but have significant value for people's lives. This declaration reflects the Government's position that fiscal stability must translate into concrete benefits for the population.
The extension of this support comes in a context where the Executive seeks to reconcile the balance of public finances with practical measures to support farmers, avoiding that budgetary discipline becomes an abstract concept without real impact on citizens' daily lives.
