The Russian presidency today admitted the possibility of a trilateral meeting between the leaders of Russia, the United States and China. The meeting may take place in November, during the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit.
The chosen location for the event is the Chinese city of Shenzhen, in southern China, which will host the next summit of the economic organization.
This possible trilateral meeting involves Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, the leaders of the three largest world powers.
The admission by Russia indicates that there are ongoing negotiations to make this encounter of great geopolitical relevance happen.
