The Supreme Federal Court postponed the trial that would discuss the norms on the social contribution of rural producers to the Rural Worker Assistance Fund (Funrural), which was scheduled for this Wednesday. The postponement occurred amid the crisis between ministers André Mendonça, Alexandre de Moraes and Flávio Dino. The case involves the regulation of the payment of this contribution by companies in the agricultural sector.
The crisis between the ministers also resulted in conflicting decisions on positions at the Federal Police. Minister Flávio Dino issued a decision on Wednesday reintegrating Andrei Rodrigues to the general direction of the corporation, reversing a previous decision made by Minister André Mendonça on Tuesday. Dino justified the measure to avoid irreparable damage to cases that are under his rapporteurship.
Dino's decision also determines that delegate Leandro Almada returns to the position of Intelligence Director of the Federal Police. As established, the decision that prevails is Dino's, as it is subsequent to Mendonça's, creating a dispute between the higher courts over who has the competence to decide on these positions.
