The Consignment Agreement for the rehabilitation works of a building on Rua da Lavandeira, in Cabanas de Viriato, in the municipality of Carregal do Sal, was officially formalized. The intervention will allow the creation of two new dwellings on site, through the reconversion of the existing property into two residential units.
One of the units will be destined for family households, with this work being part of the Local Housing Strategy of the municipality. The project aims to address housing needs in the region, leveraging existing buildings to create new residential units.
The rehabilitation of the building represents an investment in the requalification of the built heritage of Cabanas de Viriato, simultaneously contributing to revitalizing the housing supply in the municipal territory.
