The Municipality of Penalva do Castelo presented this Tuesday, September 8, the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS). The public session took place in the Noble Hall of the Municipal Chamber and aimed to present the work developed under this plan to the local community.
The initiative also aimed to promote citizen participation in defining solutions for mobility in the municipality. Those present had the opportunity to learn about the main guidelines of the plan and contribute their suggestions.
The PMUS represents an effort by the municipal executive to develop mobility solutions that are environmentally sustainable, aligning local transportation needs with more environmentally friendly practices. The public presentation demonstrates the local authority's commitment to involving the population in the planning process.
