The population of Seixal participated in a race and walk on Saturday to demand the construction of a hospital in the municipality. The event aimed to raise awareness about the need for more accessible healthcare in the region.

During the initiative, screenings for skin cancer prevention, hypertension, and diabetes were carried out. These health actions allowed participants to have medical evaluations on site.

The race and walk brought together local residents who took the opportunity to associate the sporting activity with a cause of public interest. The protest for the construction of the hospital demonstrated the community's concern with the lack of health infrastructure.
