The Government approved a measure to support Douro winegrowers facing difficulties. The exceptional income support will have a value of 12 million euros.

The measure was approved on Friday in a Council of Ministers. The objective is to help winegrowers who are having problems selling their grapes.

Douro wine producers have been facing commercial difficulties that affected the sale of the region's grape production.
