Councilman William Siri (PSOL) participates this Wednesday in a roundtable interview with candidates for governor of Rio de Janeiro, organized by the newspapers O GLOBO, Extra and Valor in partnership with CBN Radio. The interview is scheduled to start at 10:30 AM and will be broadcast live on the radio, on the newspapers' websites and on YouTube. Each roundtable interview lasts an hour and a half.
The series of interviews opened on Tuesday with state deputy Douglas Ruas (PL), followed by Anthony Garotinho (Republicanos) on Thursday and Eduardo Paes (PSD) on Friday, who closes the programming. The interviews are held in the GLOBO newsroom studio and conducted by CBN Rio presenters Bianca Santos and Leandro Resende, by the political editor of GLOBO and Extra newspapers, Thiago Prado, by columnist Bernardo Mello Franco and by Francisco Góe.
In Douglas Ruas's interview, the candidate sought to distance himself from Castro and Bacellar and associated Eduardo Paes with people involved in crimes. A Quaest Rio poll shows Paes with 39% of voting intentions, against 18% for Douglas Ruas and 8% for Garotinho.
