The University of Évora now has a Local Centre for Supporting Migrant Integration (CLAIM), through a protocol signed with the Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA).
Besides supporting students, the structure can also facilitate the arrival of foreign teachers and researchers to the university, as explained by the president of AIMA's Board of Directors, Pedro Portugal Gaspar.
The support office thus aims to contribute to attracting foreign professionals to the educational institution. The opening of this centre comes at a time when AIMA continues to be questioned about various matters related to its functioning.
