The University of Évora is preparing a new application for the creation of a Medicine degree. The rector of the institution, António Candeias, revealed that the application should be submitted to the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education by March.
This new attempt comes after two previous proposals were rejected. The university now intends to reformulate the project and submit it again for evaluation.
The aim is for the Medicine course to operate from the start of the academic year 2026/2027. António Candeias shared this information at the beginning of the current academic year.
