The University of Évora now has a Local Center for Migrant Integration Support (CLAIM), a new office created to support the integration of international students. This center aims to provide a more adequate response to the growing international dimension of the institution.
The rector of the University of Évora, António Candeias, considered that the new office allows for a more adequate response to the international dimension of the university. The institution currently hosts over 600 international students, researchers and faculty members from more than 80 countries.
The Local Center for Migrant Integration Support is located in the Santo Agostinho Building. The creation of this center represents an investment in improving support services for members of the international academic community.
