Municipality of Monforte advances with urgent works at Vaiamonte Social Park

The Municipality of Monforte formalized, on September 8, 2026, the assignment auto for the repair contract of damages to municipal infrastructures at Vaiamonte Social Park, resulting from anomalous and intense rains.

The works were awarded to the company Américo Cristóvio Correia for the total global value of 128,240.00 euros, plus VAT, through an order from the President of the Municipal Chamber dated July 27, 2026. The intervention has an execution deadline of 60 days.

The financing for these works was specifically obtained for the repair of damages caused by the 2022 storms, thus securing the financial burden of the contract.

The signing of the assignment auto was attended by Miguel Rasquinho, President of the Municipality of Monforte, Ricardo Carrilho, responsible for the supervision, and Francisco Correia, representing the awarded company.
