Vasco Botelho da Costa, Moreirense's coach, expressed concern about the short recovery period before hosting Benfica. The team from Moreira de Cónegos suffered a 2-1 defeat against Porto at the Estádio do Dragão on Friday, and returns this Wednesday to play the postponed match against the eagles, scheduled for 8:45 PM.
The short interval between matches places added difficulties on the Minho side, something the coach did not hide at the preview press conference. Botelho da Costa mentioned having the "extra handicap" of time and recovery as the main obstacles for this game.
The coach's first major concern is the intensity and rhythm of the team, in order to overcome what they did in the last match and be competitive against Benfica, which he considered to be the first great opponent of the season.
Despite the adversities, Botelho da Costa said they count on the fans' support and that he intends to make it clear that it is Moreirense's stadium. The coach also expressed the desire to achieve a good result in the match.
