The European Union Court decided to uphold the sanctions imposed on Russian businessman Roman Abramovich. The decision was made after Abramovich appealed the measure, attempting to reverse the sanctions that had been applied against him.
The court rejected the appeal filed by the Russian businessman, finding that the arguments raised in the appeal were unfounded. In this way, European justice validated the maintenance of the restrictive measures.
The sanctions applied to Abramovich will not be lifted, with all the restrictions that had been previously imposed against the Russian tycoon remaining in force.
