The latest European Railway Station Index classified the 60 busiest stations on the European continent. The ranking evaluates different aspects of the stations to determine which are the best on the continent.
The stations of Switzerland and France were highlighted as being among the best in Europe, representing the main winners of this index. These countries appear to have managed to maintain high standards of quality in their railway infrastructures.
On the other hand, Germany recorded a negative performance, falling in the ranking. This result represents a significant defeat for what is traditionally considered one of the countries with the best railway systems in Europe.
The index reveals a clear distinction between winners and losers among the major European stations, showing that not all countries with developed railway networks manage to maintain the same quality standards at their stations.
