Portuguese goods exports grew 6.5% in July, recording the fourth consecutive month of increase compared to the previous year. This growth reflects a positive trend in the country's export activity.
During the same period, imports also increased, although at a slower rate than exports. This differential contributed to an improvement in the Portuguese trade balance.
The trade deficit decreased to 3,052 million euros, representing a decrease compared to previously recorded values. This reduction is due to the better performance of exports compared to imports.
