The Socialist Party Parliamentary Group presented in the Legislative Assembly of Madeira a vote of commendation to Madalena Costa for winning the senior European double championship in Artistic Roller Skating. The Madeiran athlete, who represents Sporting Club Santacruzense and the National Team, retained the European title at the championship held in Ponte di Legno, Italy.
Madalena Costa achieved a total of 256.16 points in the competition, a result that represented a new personal best. The athlete's performance was divided between the short program, where she scored 91.05 points, and the long program, where she achieved 165.11 points.
The recognition by the Socialist Party in the Legislative Assembly of Madeira highlights the sporting achievement of the athlete, who managed to retain the previously won European title, consolidating herself as a reference in Artistic Roller Skating at the European level.
