Stevie Wonder will embark on a tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the album "Songs in the Key of Life". The series of shows begins in October in England and ends on December 19 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Detroit, the home city of Motown, gained two dates: December 8 and 9. During the tour, Stevie will perform all the tracks from the album.

The album earned Wonder his third Grammy for Album of the Year and features songs such as "I Wish", "Isn't She Lovely", "As" and "Sir Duke". Wonder produced, composed and arranged virtually all the tracks, in addition to playing almost all the instruments.

The album features special appearances, such as pianist Herbie Hancock on "As", guitarist George Benson on "Another Star" and singer Minnie Riperton on "Ordinary Pain". "Songs in the Key of Life" is part of the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress of the United States.
