Actor, director and producer Carlos Mossy, known as the King of Pornochanchada, will be the subject of a documentary directed by Gui Araponga. The film will portray the trajectory of this iconic figure of Brazilian cinema, who made history with his productions that mixed humor and sensuality.
Daniel Pereira was chosen to portray Mossy in reenactments that help reconstruct important phases of his career. Filming of the documentary has already been completed, but there is no release date yet.
Mossy found success with films such as "Quando as mulheres paqueram" (1971), "Com as calças na mão" (1975) and "Giselle" (1983). These productions made him a reference of the genre that combined romantic comedy with adult content, popular in the 1970s and 1980s.
