At 77 years old, Alberto Domínguez has already completed more than 600 races throughout his life. He also underwent two liver transplants, which makes his athletic achievements even more impressive.

The story describes one of his races, in which Domínguez fell almost half a lap behind a group of faster younger runners who had shot out ahead. As his rivals exhausted themselves, he maintained a controlled pace, waiting for the right moment to strike.

In the final 100 meters, Domínguez changed his speed and began closing the gap that had seemed insurmountable. In a surprising finish, he overtook the leader just before the finish line, provoking an explosion of applause from the crowd.

The victory caused athletes from all continents to spontaneously surround Domínguez, initiating a celebratory dance around him.

Without magic, Hulk stands out at Fluminense after start with fan skepticism

Hulk continues to be a standout at Fluminense at 40 years old, contributing with an assist and a goal in the 2-0 victory over Platense in the Copa Libertadores quarterfinals. The veteran reached his sixth direct goal contribution, with four scored and two assisted, in the club's last six games, overcoming the initial skepticism from tricolor fans. Coach Marcão found a simple tactical recipe to exploit the prolific striker: two defensive midfielders protecting the midfield, wingers closing the lateral corridors, and Ganso orchestrating offensive plays the way Hulk likes best.
