In Vilafranca, textiles are part of the municipality's recent history and the memory of several generations. From this context, Trama was born, Residencies for Contemporary Textile Practices, an artistic creation program that proposes to revisit this heritage from the present, without nostalgia, and convert it into a starting point for new investigations. The program seeks to transform local textile memory into raw material for contemporary art, connecting past and current artistic production.
