SAS – Scandinavian Airlines was voted Europe's most punctual airline last August, achieving an on-time arrival rate of 87%, according to the monthly on-time performance report from international auditor Cirium. This result was achieved by a significant margin and marks the 11th time SAS has claimed first place in Cirium's European and global rankings over the past two years, coinciding with the celebration of the airline's 80th anniversary.

Paul Verhagen, SAS's Chief Commercial Officer, stated that being named Europe's most punctual airline is important because punctuality is one of the clearest ways to add value to customers. The result reflects the dedication of employees across SAS and the continued focus on making travel as smooth, reliable, and predictable as possible.

August is typically one of the busiest months for air travel in Europe, with high passenger volumes, congested airspace, and demanding operational conditions at major hubs. Despite these seasonal pressures, SAS delivered stable and predictable performance across its entire network, reinforcing its commitment to improving punctuality and the overall customer experience.

Cirium is considered the world's most trusted source for aviation analytics, providing data and analytical solutions to help airlines, airports, travel companies, and financial institutions make informed decisions and optimize their operations.
