The candidate for governor of Rio de Janeiro by the PL, Douglas Ruas, was interviewed on Tuesday (8) by the media outlets EXTRA, Globo, Valor and CBN. The Q&A session was conducted by CBN Rio presenters Bianca Santos and Leandro Resende, by the Politics editor of EXTRA and Globo newspapers Thiago Prado, by columnist Bernardo Mello Franco and by Francisco Góes, head of Valor's Rio bureau.
The interview started at 10:30 am and lasted an hour and a half. During the session, Douglas Ruas tried to distance himself from vice-governor candidates Castro and Bacellar, associating adversary Eduardo Paes with people involved in criminality.
This session opened a series of collective interviews with candidates for governor of Rio. The programming continues on Wednesday (9) with William Siri (PSOL), followed by Garotinho (Republicanos) on Thursday (10), and ends on Friday (11) with Eduardo Paes (PSD), all with hour-and-a-half-long interviews.
