See the video. Tesla tests supervised autonomous driving on Denmark's narrowest streets

SAPO Notícias8 September 2026 at 21:31

Tesla tested its Full Self-Driving (FSD) autonomous driving system on the narrowest streets of Aarhus' historic center in Denmark. The video demonstrates the system's ability to navigate tight urban lanes, typically challenging for autonomous vehicles.

During the test, the system faced pedestrian and cycling traffic characteristic of the Danish historic center. The route was completed without direct human interventions in the vehicle controls, evidencing the system's autonomy in these conditions.

The test recording showed only minor hesitations by the vehicle during driving. These occurrences were considered minimal by the team, not compromising the overall performance of the system in the supervised autonomous driving task.

This test comes in the context of Tesla's strategy to expand and validate FSD capabilities across different European urban contexts, demonstrating the technology's adaptation to historic infrastructures with narrow streets and mixed traffic.
