Ponta do Sol prepares over half a million euros to support families

The municipal council of Ponta do Sol will make available over half a million euros for a new regulation to support families in the municipality. The value will be applied to measures supporting birth rates and education.

The regulation provides for a monthly subsidy of 30 euros per child, aimed at families in the municipality. This measure aims to financially support parents and guardians and encourage birth rates in the region.

In addition to support per child, the new regulation also includes support for local nurseries and study grants worth 1,100 euros for higher education students. These grants are intended for young people from the municipality who attend higher-level courses.
