Governor Raquel Lyra (PSD) appears numerically ahead of former Recife mayor João Campos (PSB) in the race for the government of Pernambuco, according to a Quaest poll released this Tuesday. Lyra registers 43% of voting intentions in the first round, while Campos has 37%. However, the two candidates are tied at the limit of the margin of error, which is three percentage points.
The scenario is considered stable compared to the August poll, when Lyra appeared with 44% and Campos with 36%. The difference between the two surveys is within the margin of error, indicating no significant change in voting intentions.
The other candidates present very low percentages. Ivan Moraes (PSOL) and Renan Hallais (Missão) appear with 1% each. Professora Camila (UP), Professor Jeremias do Banco (Democrata) and Victor Assis (PCO) register 0% in voting intentions.
The Quaest poll was conducted in Pernambuco and measures voting intentions for the 2026 election. The result places Governor Raquel Lyra in a numerically advantageous position, but without a difference that guarantees victory in the first round, considering the margin of error of the survey.
