Quaest in SP: Marina Silva and Guilherme Derrite have 14%, and Simone Tebet, 12%, in the Senate race

The Quaest poll released this Tuesday (8th) revealed a new three-way tie in the race for the Senate seat in São Paulo. Marina Silva (Rede) appears with 14% of voter intentions, while Simone Tebet (PSB) and Guilherme Derrite (PP) are technically tied with 12% each. The margin of error is two percentage points.

Marina Silva and Simone Tebet are former ministers of State under the Lula government and are part of Fernando Haddad's (PT) group, the candidate for the São Paulo executive. Derrite, on the other hand, is a federal deputy and former state secretary of Public Security.

André do Prado (PL), president of the State Legislative Assembly (Alesp), follows with 7% of voter intentions. He and Derrite represent the ticket of Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos) and Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL).

The poll also shows Ricardo Salles (Novo) with 3%, followed by former councilwoman Soninha Francine (Cidadania) with 1% and businessman Geraldo Rufino (Podemos) with 1%. This is the first survey by the institute to measure the impact of free electoral advertising.
