Estrela da Amadora will host Sporting de Braga at the Alverca Sports Complex, on Thursday, in a postponed match from round three of the I Liga football league. The match was rescheduled due to the closure of Estádio José Gomes, Estrela da Amadora's home stadium, which is unable to host official matches.
The club confirmed this information to the Portuguese news agency, through an official source. The closure of their stadium forced the management of Estrela da Amadora to find an alternative venue to host the match against Sporting de Braga.
Alverca, located in the district of Vila Franca de Xira, in the Lisbon region, was thus chosen as the venue for this postponed match from the top division of Portuguese football. Sporting de Braga, a club from Minho that competes in the upper echelons of the standings, will be Estrela da Amadora's opponent in this rescheduled match.
