The completion of the new PSP police station in Ponta do Sol should be above political divergences and electoral interests. This was the position taken by Carlos Ramos, PSD municipal councilor, during the ceremonial session that celebrated the 525th anniversary of Ponta do Sol.
Carlos Ramos called for a transparent and coordinated solution for an investment that he considered essential to the security of the local population. The matter was raised in the context of the municipality's anniversary celebrations, where the councilor took the opportunity to make this intervention about the need for the police station.
The PSD believes that the completion of this police infrastructure should not be conditioned by political games or electoral calendars. Carlos Ramos emphasized that what really matters is that the police station gets built, regardless of who gets the credit for its completion.
