The Quaest survey commissioned by TV Globo, released on Tuesday, revealed that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL) appear technically tied in the first-round scenario of the presidential race in three regions: São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and the Federal District.
In São Paulo, Quaest surveyed 1,800 people aged 16 or over between September 4 and 7, with a margin of error of two percentage points and a confidence level of 95%. The poll was registered with the TSE under number BR-04705/2026.
In Minas Gerais, 1,506 voters aged 16 or over were interviewed during the same period, with a margin of error of three percentage points and confidence of 95%. The poll was registered with the Electoral Court under number MG-04716/2026.
In the Federal District, Quaest surveyed 1,104 people aged 16 or over between September 4 and 7, also with a margin of error of three percentage points and a confidence level of 95%. The poll was registered under number DF-04711/2026.
