ANAFRE – National Association of Parish Councils announced an important change in the legislation regarding the application of phytopharmaceutical products. The validity period of applicator certification for these products has been extended from 10 to 15 years, representing a significant increase in the duration of this certification.
This change came into effect with the publication of Decree-Law No. 127/2026, which amended the previous regulations on this matter. The new 15-year duration applies both to certifications that will be issued from June 17, 2026 onwards and to those already in circulation.
The association informs professionals in the sector about this legislative update, which reduces the need for frequent license renewals. This measure aims to simplify administrative procedures for phytopharmaceutical product applicators, reducing the costs associated with periodic training and certification.
