The Brazilian vehicle tracking market is going through a moment of technical reorganization precisely when crime rates against vehicles are declining. According to the 2026 Brazilian Public Safety Yearbook, released on July 23, 2026 by the Brazilian Public Safety Forum, the country recorded 308,440 cases of vehicle theft and robbery in 2025, representing a 14.3% decrease compared to the previous year.
Even with the decline in crimes against vehicles, the demand for monitoring services has not decreased. The demand has evolved and is no longer limited to simple map location, now encompassing intelligent data management. This change requires tracking centers to have a technological base capable of supporting operations on a national scale.
The Brazilian movement follows a global growth cycle in the sector. A survey by Mordor Intelligence consulting firm estimates that the global vehicle tracking systems market, valued at US$ 29.6 billion in 2025, is expected to reach US$ 60 billion by 2030, growth driven by a compound annual growth rate of 15.18%.
