Registration for the 4th edition of the 2 Léguas Eurocity Race is now open. The event takes place on October 25th and consists of a 10-kilometre course connecting Valença, in Portugal, to Tui, in Galicia. Organisation is handled by the Verdoejense Sports Association, with the start and finish line on Avenida da Juventude, in Valença.
The main race features Júlia Vaquero and Manuela Machado as patrons. During the course, participants cross the old international bridge over the River Minho, physically connecting the two towns that make up the Eurocity.
In addition to the main 10-kilometre race, the competition includes a 500-metre race for children aged 7 to 11 and a 1500-metre event for young people between 12 and 17 years old, thus expanding participation across different age groups.
