The Praia Fluvial do Penedo Furado received, on the morning of September 4, a solar observation activity, promoted by the Centro Ciência Viva de Constância – Parque de Astronomia, as part of the 30th edition of the "Ciência Viva no Verão" program. The initiative provided participants with an opportunity for closer contact with astronomy, through the observation of the Sun using telescopes equipped with proper filters and with the specialized guidance of the Centro Ciência Viva de Constância team. Throughout the morning, participants were able to deepen their knowledge about the Sun and some of the characteristics of the star closest to Earth, in an activity that sought to combine science outreach with the relaxed atmosphere of one of the main bathing areas of the Municipality. The "Ciência Viva no Verão" program celebrates its 30th edition this year, promoting science outreach activities and direct contact with science in different parts of the country.
