Madalena Costa became the European champion in artistic skating after dominating the long program in the senior category of the free skating discipline. The competition took place in Ponte di Legno, in Italy.

The Portuguese athlete had already demonstrated her superiority yesterday, by completely dominating the short program of the European competition.

Madalena Costa represents the Santacruzense club and successfully defended the European title she had previously won.

In addition to the European title, the Portuguese athlete also holds the title of world champion in artistic skating.
