Brennan isolates himself as the biggest winner after new dominant sprint

RTP Notícias8 September 2026 at 18:40

The British rider Matthew Brennan, from the Visma-Lease a Bike team, achieved a new dominant sprint in the 81st edition of the Vuelta a España, reaching his fourth stage victory in this edition of the race.

With this triumph, Brennan isolated himself as the cyclist with the most stage wins throughout the entire Vuelta, distancing himself from the other competitors in the won stages ranking.

The Britishman's performance in the sprint was dominant, giving no chance to the opponents who tried to keep up with him at the finish.

This success consolidated his position as one of the most dominant sprinters in the Vuelta a España.
