Sérgio Gonçalves debates with Airlines for Europe

Eurodeputy Sérgio Gonçalves met this Tuesday, in Brussels, with Airlines for Europe (A4E) to discuss the European Commission's proposal on multimodal mobility digital services and its implications for the aviation sector and for passengers. The meeting allowed for exchanging perspectives on the challenges and opportunities that this legislation could bring to the European air transport ecosystem.

The meeting was attended by Camille Barré, Policy Director of A4E, who represented the association that brings together some of Europe's major airlines, including TAP. During the meeting, the new rules proposed by the European Commission to regulate multimodal mobility digital services in the European Union were discussed.

The discussion focused on the implications that this proposal could have for both airlines and passengers who use multimodal transport services. Sérgio Gonçalves and A4E representatives analyzed the potential impacts of the legislation on the competitiveness of the aviation sector and on the quality of services provided to users.
