AR/Censure: PCP points to Chega as Government ally beyond the "outcry" and CDS-PP says motion "is just a flash in the pan"

SAPO Notícias8 September 2026 at 16:58

PCP considered today that Chega is an ally of the Government's policy beyond the political "outcry". This position comes in reaction to the motion of censure presented by Chega against the Executive.

CDS-PP, on the other hand, downplayed the motion of censure from the party led by André Ventura, considering it "just a flash in the pan". Thus, the two parties on the right and left of the political spectrum expressed their positions regarding Chega's initiative.
