The municipality of Matosinhos has opened a tender for the video surveillance project in the city. The mayor explained that the steps taken are aimed at the stages prior to the launch of the contract.
The process is in the final phase of the authorization procedure, with only the approval from the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI) still needed for the project to move forward.
The council is thus preparing the necessary steps for the implementation of the video surveillance system, which will also depend on approval from the central government.
