Portugal Digital Summit 2026 brings together more than 150 specialists to discuss the AI agents era

Portugal Digital Summit 2026 takes place on October 21 and 22 at the Lisbon Congress Centre, bringing together more than 150 specialists, business leaders and visionaries to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on the economy. The event, organized by the Digital Economy Association (ACEPI) in partnership with GoingNext, has as its central theme "The Era of AI Agents", focusing on how companies can transform the potential of artificial intelligence agents into innovation, productivity and competitive advantage.

The event agenda emerges in the context of new artificial intelligence regulation in Europe, with the European AI Regulation in force since August, highlighting the challenges that rapid technological evolution poses to business and business management. The event also includes a new stage dedicated to the impact of artificial intelligence on communication, marketing and the relationship between brands and consumers.

Among the confirmed speakers are Adolfo Mesquita Nunes, former Secretary of State for Tourism and partner at Pérez-Llorca, who will address the challenges of regulation, and Assunção Cristas, former Minister of Agriculture and Environment, who will speak about innovation, sustainability and competitiveness. Inês Ruvina, country leader at Amazon, will present business transformation through artificial intelligence, while Paulo Dimas, coordinator of the Center for Responsible AI, will explore ethics in the development and use of AI. Javier Pemán, responsible for NVIDIA's AI area for Spain, Portugal and the Middle East, will demonstrate the importance of technological infrastructure for competitiveness.

ACEPI, founded in 2000 and with more than 250 members, is a business association dedicated to enhancing the participation of companies in the Portuguese economy and accelerating access to the digital economy.
