The musician brings with him 60 years of songs, covering his career with the Faces, the Rolling Stones — where he has been a member since 1975 — and side projects.
During the interview, Wood stated that he still has "a lot of things on the go," demonstrating energy and willingness to continue creating and performing. His goal with music remains unchanged: to bring happiness to the audience.
The guitarist took the opportunity to thank a Portuguese friend named Luís, whom he credits with helping him maintain sobriety. This reference comes in the context of a career marked by personal challenges that the musician has overcome over the years.
Wood justified the importance of continuing to perform by stating that "there's a lot of crap happening in the world," which is why music takes on the role of a tool to make people happy and create moments of joy through concerts.
