Paço dos Henriques, located in Alcáçovas, commemorated on September 5th the attribution of the European Heritage Label, through a ceremony that included the unveiling of the respective commemorative plaque. The event marked the recognition of this monument as part of European heritage.
The ceremony featured the presence of Henrique Sim-Sim, Vice-President of the Coordination and Development Commission of Alentejo for the area of Culture. Also present was Luís Metrogos, Mayor of the Municipal Council, among other entities and local figures.
The European Heritage Label is a recognition awarded by the Coordination and Development Commission of Alentejo, I.P., which highlights sites and cultural spaces of significant value for European history and identity. Paço dos Henriques thus joins a set of monuments that hold this distinction.
