CDS denounces deadlock in construction work in Câmara de Lobos

dnoticias.pt8 September 2026 at 16:25

The CDS-PP of Câmara de Lobos was at the intersection leading to Escola da Torre this afternoon to verify the progress of works on Estrada João Gonçalves Zarco. The delegation was led by Lídio Aguiar.

On site, the party confirmed the total deadlock in the works and the continuation of the closure of one of the traffic lanes. The road has been closed to traffic on one lane for about two and a half years.

This situation, according to CDS, has been dragging on with repair promises from successive PSD executives, without them being fulfilled. The party thus denounced the lack of resolution of the problem that affects traffic on that road.
