Portugal and eleven other countries announced the imposition of sanctions on Israeli settlements, according to information provided in a joint statement by the foreign ministers of the countries involved.
The decision was made as part of a coordinated action among the twelve countries, which decided to proceed with restrictive measures against illegal settlements in occupied Palestinian territory.
Portugal is part of the group of nations that decided to adopt these sanctions, demonstrating a concerted position at the European and international level regarding the issue of Israeli settlements.
The announcement was made through an official declaration signed by the heads of diplomacy of the participating countries, reinforcing the joint commitment to implementing measures against the settlements.
