The Recreational and Sports Association of Calvos inaugurated a new synthetic turf fully supported by the Municipality of Guimarães. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Municipal Council of Guimarães, Ricardo Araújo, the Councilor for Sports, Alberto Martins, the President of the Parish Council of Calvos, Filipe Lopes, and the President of the Association, Eugénio Daniel.
The investment allows the parish to have better conditions for sports practice and strengthen the response capacity of the association, simultaneously providing the community with equipment with better conditions of use.
The inauguration took place during the celebrations of the first Parish Day of Calvos. During the commemorative session and tribute to those who have distinguished themselves for their contribution to the community, the President of the Municipal Council of Guimarães, Ricardo Araújo, was awarded the Medal of Honour of the Parish of Calvos.
