The director-general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, cancelled his participation in an opening event for training courses for new agents of the corporation, which would take place on Tuesday at the PF Academy. The decision not to participate in the event was a practical measure taken after Minister André Mendonça's decision to remove him from office.
The CBN reporting team managed to identify Andrei Rodrigues's car upon arrival at the Federal Police Academy. At the moment when the director-general was already at the location, the removal decision was made by Minister André Mendonça.
The opening of the training course for the new agents was scheduled for 9 in the morning, but ended up starting only around 9:50. Only delegate William Mourad, who holds the position of executive director of the PF and is considered the number 2 of the corporation, attended the event to participate in the opening and welcome the new agents who will still go through the training course.
