Huawei unveiled the Mate XT 2, the new generation of its tri-foldable smartphone. The device maintains the tri-fold format that allows the user to expand the screen up to 10.2 inches, offering a wider viewing experience compared to traditional smartphones.
One of the main innovations of this model is the new internal fold architecture. This technology was developed to offer better screen protection when the device is closed, addressing one of the main concerns of foldable smartphone users.
The Mate XT 2 also introduces Huawei's first "privacy display" to come to smartphones. This feature aims to protect user privacy, possibly by limiting the screen's viewing angle so that only the direct user can see the displayed content.
With these improvements, Huawei positions the Mate XT 2 as a significant evolution in its foldable device lineup, combining innovations in screen protection and privacy features in a single device.
